Service Details where you can either select or add a named service to the list of services to be delivered to the client.
Services can be added by clicking Add Service.
The Service screen is composed of Service Name, Short Description & Full Description.
Service Name
Service Name/recipient may be different to the recipient of the proposal. It's reasonably common in Australia for accounting firms to bundle servies for multiple recipients of a family group. So you could add services for mum, dad and their joint company, naming the three clients.
Services can be modified for both the descriptions and the amounts at this stage of the proposal preparation.
Service scope
The Service Scope can be selected. Select a Service Scope commensurate with the type of service. i.e. if you resell software, create a Service Scope that covers all legal type considerations including the limitations of the service.
Service Scope are terms, conditions, and deliverables relating to the service or service type. They can be shared between different services and will only appear once within a contract if multiple services share the same scope. For example, you may have a scope for “Tax Returns” that can be shared between Business, Individual and Trust Tax Returns.
The "Service Scopes" outlines the deliverables, here's an example of kinds of Service Scope.
Can be managed via "Template section"
Service Bundles can be constructed. These are essentially bundle templates that can incorporate a list of services. In actual fact, it's easy enough to develop the bundle on the fly during Proposal Construction.
Income Amount
Income account can be selected so that the service can be aligned with a specific revenue line in your selected accounting software - with QBO or Xero.
The base fee for the service can be included.
- If you prefer not to bill with fixed fees, then toggle Enable Service Billing off. In such a case, be sure to mention your hourly rate in your engagement letter.
- Publish this service to my services page - This feature is not fully developed yet and so we advise to leave off.
